if he knows you love him and he wanted to be with you then he would be with you. If he is not willing to take you out, then you really need to stop talking to him so you can heal and get over him. You will never move on otherwise.
He is not the only boy in the world. Plenty others would love to be with you so if he is not interested, it is his loss"Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer".

Some guys just like to look into their significant others eyes, I do too. There's nothing wrong with that and you shouldn't think anything of it.
