What I feel like I do:

    1. I work in Hell
    2. Nothing- it eats all my happiness.
    3. Everything. It's sucking the life out of me.
4, Anything else- I like to live.
    5. Mainly, Satan and his band of 3 female demons stand by and remove our sanity, hopes, and dreams from our flesh with searing hot irons and 10ft long whips made out of live Egyptian asps tied together while we sweat and bleed on everything so the wretched people of the world can throw parties. Then we run as fast as lightning during the parties to serve giant platters of children's innocence sprinkled in tears so they can devour it and beat us emotionally to within an inch of our lives for their personal amusement till we keel over and die as soon as we clock out.

    What I actually do:

    1. I work at Holiday Inn Express in their ballroom.
    2. I like my coworkers I work with, but I hate all of our superiors except for one (She's actually nice and reasonable).
    3. They screw with hours and pay, and two of my supervisors are wicked bitches who play favorites. Then there are the hotel owners who are a dirt cheap couple of idiots who run the hotel like a concentration camp. The guests are rude. I end up coming out looking like I went through a war-zone after serving with how much food gets on me, and I end up catching any sickness the guests have.
4, Anything else- really. But I'm going to go to school for English Secondary Education to teach high school and try to publish some writing on the side.
    5. We set up and take down the ballroom for events such as weddings, meetings, parties, etc etc. And sometimes, if they order servers, we're called in to serve.

    32 days till I quit!!!!!

    3. What do you dislike about it (please don't say "not making enough money" haha) It sometimes get's in too my working out schedule(I Bodybuild)
4, If you could choose another profession/field what would you do and why? None.

equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels. Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove

    1. Dancer
    2. Love the money. Love the freedom. The glamour. The women that come are lots of fun. No homo but they TIP and I dance harder for them lol. Good workout
    3. MEN that just stare. I know you're impressed but tip. The bad reputation like were ho's, on drugs etc.
    4. Writer for a magazine (Which is what I initially was in College for) Communications. Work behind the scenes of a reality show or something like that. Something juicy and fun and I have to make plenty of money which I have grown accustomed to.
    5. I'm sure a lot of people pic a strip club to have like a bunch of old, perverted men and sleazy looking girls sashaying around but with my culture and where I dance at, along with several other clubs, its more like a club. My club is very big and people just come to club and have a good time. We actually dance and work on a pole really good. Like magic, like two girls on one pole. We have a 30 ft. pole, which I haven't mastered yet. I'm pretty flexible, I'm sure I could but I really have no interest in it either but this girl can slide down it, head first. No hands. It really like, wow. That's how people be looking, like wowed. You have times when things get wild, especially in VIP but I have no need to do all that. But I definitely give a show. The more you do, the more money you make. The most I made in one night was about 10,000 and that's because we had some rich guys come in there and all together they dropped like 50,000 but me and some other girls split it. Rihanna came one night (when I was out of town unfortunately) and she spent like 8,000. But I will tell any girl that is thinking about it, if you don't have to do it. Don't. I was really in need of money when I started because I had moved from where I was from and it's so addictive. But its not all glamour and it can be stressful and in relationships because guys don't trust you or take you that serious. Like a sex symbol but I was already freaky before I became a dancer lol. It's not like I go out dressed like one. I love Aeropostal, Hollister and Nike Airmax's. I'm girly anyway so I always get my hair and nails done and I like designer bags and makeup and sometimes I like heels and fitting clothes. It just depends. I don't look like a dancer when I'm in public lol. People have no idea until I tell them. A lot of girls that not focused can get really turned out but you have to have another game plan and that's it.

    1. Registered Nurse
    2. It's never boring, I work with some of the smartest, kindest people on the planet, and I feel the work I do actually makes a difference. Most
of the time, my patients appreciate me, and I feel respected and well-liked.
    3. I dislike that I have to deal with some of the lowest of the low on a regular basis: drug addicts, detoxing drunks, inmates that fake illnesses
to get out of prison for a couple of days, and a couple of doctors that have their heads up their ass. I also dislike that hospitals are very
much a part of corporate America (though the employees are generally not). Another big negative is that I see all too well what kills people
and how they suffer, and don't have the luxury of imagining it won't happen to me (and my kids) some day.
    4. I am fortunate to be able to say that I wouldn't choose another profession.
    5. I wear many hats: nurse, mother, clergy, babysitter, pharmacist, law enforcement, drug pusher, peacemaker, maid, waiter, organizer, hero, villain.

(Tip to the original poster: I notice you are not American, and I should warn you that American nurses have a much broader scope of practice than many other countries allow.)
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

What I do now, is not what I would like to be doing for a living. It is temporary, BUT here goes nothing.

    1) I work at a cell phone store and at a bar
    2) About the cell phone store, I like dealing with customers (customer service), I like dealing with new technology, and I like the money because I get great commission when I sell well. About the bar, I like everything about it. The people, the music, the FUN.
    3) I dislike my manager at the cell phone store, and I don't dislike anything about the bar.
    4) If I could choose another profession (which I will be doing in about a year when I can afford to go back to school) I would be a journalist. I would love to be a reporter for a news channel. If I don't make it to TV journalism, then I would love to write a column for a newspaper or magazine.
    5) On the daily, I sell cell phones to customer, and the nightly I sell drinks lol

Seriously. It's not all glamour and it can be very stressful at times and I know you're not thinking about becoming one because you have your whole life ahead of you and you going to college soon and you know way better then this and you just basically want to know right? Cool.

It's very easy to become a dancer but hard to become a very good one that makes a lot of money. Yes, you have to audition. Just call the club or stop by and inquire about it with the owner and they will let you know when to come in and audition if that's what you want to call it. Depending on the type of club is what determines if their going to want you. If its an upscale, their going to care more about your looks and body type etc. because they have a certain high end or top notch brand they want to represent. If its a cheap or ghetto club, they don't really care and it shows with their dancers. You don't have to know how to dance really good, just have moves because practice makes perfect. People think we just go to work at night but no, good dancers practice during the day and it takes ALOT of practice to learn how to work a pole really well (for lack of better terms). You have to be like a spider with magic and I think that's why girls like to come and check it out because they want to do it too for their hubbies or BFs. Innocent fun really.

Yes, it is very competitive. I think of it as I'm only here for one night then I'm gonna be a memory so I'm going to entertain because I want them to come see me and forget a tip, they'll pay some bills. Money talks and if they don't got it, end of discussion. Never personal. I'm nice. I smile. I'm down to earth. I mingle with my audience so we can have that contact but nothing crazy. Like my club has a lot of dancers, its a huge club. But its only a handful of girls that make A LOT of money because they practice, their not lazy and they really deliver. So, I try to stand out, I don't have a lot of friends there, I don't get caught up in the drama and jealousy and I just really do me. Yes you make a good amount of money in a short period of time and that's why most girls do it to begin with because their just really in need of money and it can become addictive. Dancing out of town and being paid by the club to dance there and getting tips is good money. I'm really different and I look different outside the club. I don't be wearing all of that Nicki Minaj make up outside the club lol. I carry myself differently and I think people are surprised when they meet me because I'm so classy and girly and silly. I speak my mind but I'm not obnoxious and I'm soft spoken but I have no problem defending myself.

The most popular clubs that I know don't care about showing boobs as much as other body shots and that's all I'm going to say about that.

But don't think its all glamour. It can be hard work. Stressful on relationships. My club is open until about 6 AM because when people leave the night club that's where they come, especially on weekends. It can be tiring but no big deal. The money I quoted above was like a one time thing. I don't make that every night. That was a really good night so I don't want to glamourize that but I do live comfortably. I'm not financially stressed. I can pretty much afford to do what I want. I'm actually in school at that moment because I don't want to be a dancer forever. Cant be anyway. I see girls really get turned out and they are low class. They don't know what their doing. Their followers. So I tell anybody, I know it looks appealing but I work hard and its not always easy in my personal life so if you really dont got to do it, then dont.

I work at a bridal boutique. Makes me happy to help others prepare for one of the happiest days of their lives and makes me sad because I am not married.
