Those games can suck in people from all walks of life and all ages. I didn't start playing until I was 43. I am still playing. Gives me a chance to put some money away instead of going out. A night out can cost me over $150....dinner, drinks and cab fare can really add up.

It is pretty much the purpose of those games to keep people coming back. I don't really have that strong of an attention span, so I don't stick with games like that for more than a couple months.. if that... at least, I haven't for a long time now... but I do always hope to find one that will keep me entertained for years as, like S9 said, it really cuts down on entertainment costs.
