ok i dont know what is wrong with me, i'm 21 but since i've started taking the pill 2 years ago, i have noticed that i am no longer that intrested in having sex. my boyfriend constantly bugs me for it, and then i get annoyed at him. I just want to know if my low sex drive has something to do with me or was it the pills? is anyone else experiencing this?? and how do i fix it?

hi. i had the same reaction when i started taking them. i had absolutely no desire for sex and i had my period every two weeks. i told my boyfriend there was no point in me taking them because they were really twice as useless as not taking them at all. you should probably go to your doctor and ask for a lower dose.

Go on Yasmin. I've been taking that for a while now and I have noticed no difference in my sex drive. Not that much really effect my sex drive anyway but you get the point. Yasmin has lower doses of hormones, has low occurances of sexual side effects and helps with your period. It's probably the best one to be on, IMO.

A womans sex drive peeks at around 30 or so. Women still have sex drives before and after that. lol Duh. It all depends on the woman but that is an average/statistic.

I was watching the 'wright stuff' (English show) and they were talking about this. Women phoned in saying that they had totaly lost their sex drive.

It does make sense in a way. Those pills give you a certian amount of a hormone similar to estradiol that keeps your FSH low and therefore keeps your level of estradiol low as well. And if I remember correctly, the estradiol is partly responsable for the female sex drive.

I was kidding aout the altitude thing *woosh* straight over your head lol but ok. Hey you know how experiments work? ..try that. It known fact that the pill have such side effect. I recommend to you to try Sentia to increase your libido. I was taking Sentia and my libido became normal. Originally Posted by crashnburn
