    The pill

    ok needing advice here from the girls.i started having sex about a month ago ,using condoms as my only protection,but me being such a worrier im wanting to go on the pill for backup as such,im just wondering if i was to go on the pill when is it you start taking your first one,just before or after your period?help much appreciated .xx

    Very smart to go on the pill. I was the same way. I am a huge worrier so I had to get myself on it. There were other reasons as well, but thats besides the point. And yes, you start after you have your period.

    ROSE!!! lol *kisses* So like if you use the pill can you still not use a condom or what? But if I was ever to do that, I would for sure have to have us both get an STD check, etc.

    Hey sexy! *kisses back* Technically yes. You can have sex without a condom when the woman is on the pill. Personally, I don't do that. Gotta wear a condom. Sorry bub. lol

    Yea, just as a backup. I most likely would too. Unless it was my wife, etc.

    Exactly. If I was in a very commited relationship where I knew the person would take care of me if I happened to get pregnant, then I'd say forget the condom. Otherwise, gotta have one on.

    The Pill protects you from pregnancy, you still need the condom for STDs though.

    Yup yup. Exactly why I use em. There is also a small chance of pregnancy. It's so minuscule though that even I wouldn't worry when having unprotected sex... But I wouldn't.

    Yep, start taking the Pills on the day your period starts. You take it for 21 days and then you have 7 days break. During that break time, you do not need protection if you don't want it and you should be having your periods. After that 7 days is over, you start taking the Pills again and the cycle begins.

    Some people say that the Pills make em gain weight but it lightens the flow of your periods, so there's always a good and bad side of things.

    Like I said, it's not really the pill that is making you add weight, its the fact that you want to eat more. And as for lightening the period, this is the best part of the pill and one of the main reasons I went on it. I used to get the worst cramps for like 2-3 days. Now I barely get them for a few hours. They are just as intense but they last like 5 hours vs 48+ hours.
