Do the first move or not if you are a girl ?

Hi !
Long story short, I have a guy that I would like to get to know better, but I don't know if I should do the first move. 3 years ago that guy was interested in me, but I was too young at the time (only 17 and he was 24) and I made him understand, gently, that I was too young for him (he tought I was 22). He was always kind to me even though I rejected him. Now, I have just came back to my home town and I'm kind of interested in him. I don't know if I should make a move, because I know that he won't (he's shy). Should I make a move and if yes, what should I do or say ?

Do it and see what happens, you have nothing to lose. More-so because you rejected him back then - he won't make the move.

Well if you are interested in him and you also be clear on that he still likes you and he has a same feelings like you, and you have a guts to tell him how you feel about him then just go ahead. If you can make a first move then I think you should have to make a move, if he interested in you then I think you have to tell him so be confident and just go ahead.. Good luck dear..
