that just seems so damn sneaky...if the girl you're with asks you, you have to tell her, otherwise that's just plain lying. you chose to do it, so you have to deal with the consequences. as a woman who would want to know about this type of thing, that's just how i feel about it.

most women on here apply the don't ask don't tell deal. so if he comes across those women he shouldn't blurt it out but he should ALWAYS ensure his cleanliness hookers, or not.
That's always been one of the questions I've asked boyfriends that were getting into the serious zone: Have you ever paid for sex? It's not necessarily a dealbreaker, depending on circumstances, but I want to know the general outline.

I don't think the OP has to tell unless he's asked. General questions regarding sexual history count as being asked.
By an internet prostitute, yes I do mean a call girl, not some sort of webcam thing. I probably spent about $5000 in one year having sex with 16 women. Then later on, I did the escort system and had sex with 2 more.
I did this because I felt inadequate about myself being sexually inexperienced and wanted to get laid. Felt like I was the last guy on the planet that any girl would want to date or have sex with because of mean and hurtful things that girls said to me in middle school/high school. There was too much of a game and it was too hard for me to get a girlfriend and get laid, so I tried my luck with internet prostitutes and lost my virginity when I was 23.
I want to admit this to anyone that I will be with in the future because it is simply dishonest and lying for me not to. And relationships are all about honesty and communication.
I think couples should be open and honest about their sexual history when they start getting intimate. Revealing such information only if they are asked is sneaky and a form of dishonesty (yes, active omittance is a form of dishonesty) to me. I would be okay with a guy with such a history as long as he isn't doing this anymore, is completely clean, and reveal this to me in an honest, open, and timely fashion.
Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that you want to be forthright and honest in your relationships, and some guys NEVER learn that one. The bad news is that while you've racked up a whole lot of sexual experience, you still appear to have very little experience with relationships, and that's going to become glaringly apparent as soon as you get another girlfriend.
I suggest you bookmark this site. You may be using it a lot.

i'm glad you are serious about being forward. that takes a lot of guts. as long as you own your past actions and are comfortable explaining to her the circumstances behind it (like really dig deep in there so that she gets a good idea of how you were feeling) i would see no reason why a girl who you have been dating and gotten to know would hold it against you to the point of flat out dumping you.
if i was in your situation, i'd definitely let my guy know that i'm clean and that i'm not a virgin. however, i would probably wait about getting into the real details about my sexual past until i feel like i've grown attached to the person and feel the relationship could go somewhere. it's rough, but in my opinion, if you can own your past and not be afraid to open up about it, it will only make you and your relationship stronger... if after all that, the girl still feels she has to leave, than she wasn't worth pursuing further anyways.

If you gonna be honest, you might as well let it out in the beginning before you even feel serious about a girl.
You don't want to invest any emotions and then later confess and get booted. IMHO.
If you had really stopped that, why would you tell.you got to keep some secrets covered .
If a girl ever asked me if I paid for sex before the answer is obviously a yes.
Whether you spend $80 for quickie with a hooker or $300 on gifts and suppers and gas and clothes and shoes and jewellery for a week before you have sex, you are still paying for it.
I would just forget this ever happened, don't tell. If they ask I would lie. It's none of their business in my opinion. Ask them if they've ever used a pregnancy test. Ask them if they've ever done anal. Ask them if they have a common reoccurence of yeast infections or urinary tract infections.
