This makes no sense. If it was a competition where you had to reach a certain number before your friend did you didn't turn anyone down. I also don't know what other thread everyone is talking about, but based solely on the fact that you have a contest at a club to see how many sexually frustrated guys will grind you before your friend makes me question your judgement, maturity level and self esteem.

At any rate, to answer your question, almost all male approaches are planned. Maybe if a guy is just walking across the floor and comes across you it might be a bit more spontaneous, but mostly guys are somewhere looking to see when girls aren't dancing with someone so that they can jump in. That is exactly why I hate clubs and always have hated them. A bunch of low life losers standing on a wall, getting drunk and causing trouble. Urgh...
