Not true. Pakistanis are naturally some of the fairest skinned people you'll encounter. Tanning is just a part of their culture

No, that's because I have lived in one of those apartments. There's no room for a tanning bed. I use sauna almost every day, but if I moved to Asia for a few months/years, I wouldn't build one for myself.

most pakistanis are tanned yes, but not obviously like african tan lol. Pakistanis are halfway between persians and indian skin tone, mostly medium brown skintone, persians are lighter then us and indians are darker then us, it makes sense because we are inbetween Iran and India geographicaly. I have already posted my pic in the introduction thread, in that pic i look a bit pale because it was taken in the winter, usually in the summer i get a bit more tanned

Because the general consensus is that being tan is attractive, so people do it to look more attractive. Of course not every person is into the tanning thing, but many people believe tan is hot.

Personally i tan because when i'm tan i can go with less make up since i have color on my face already lol. But i don't tan til i literally look like i'm baked, and i tan easily so i go about once a week after i get the color i want. Where i live, we don't get a whole lot of sun unless it's summer so only about 2 and a half months. Also a lot of ppl seem to believe that being tan makes you look slimmer so there's another big reason why people do, if you can't tone it tan it.

I just think it's funny when ppl are against tanning yet spend hours in the sun baking. I think tanning in moderation is ok and you also want to follow by their guidelines, if you're really fair skinned, you don't want to be in the tanning bed for any longer than five minutes which is about an hour in the sun...it's really about common sense.

Also in a tanning bed you get get tan ALL over, i hate tan lines.

It looks really bad when you're body is tan but your butt/boobs are white.
