Ygg, while that sounded right to me, I don't think the young folk do that kind of thing anymore. These days, I think the girl can be just as forward about asking for a date, showing interest, etc. Its not like our generation where the gal was somewhat expected to wait for the phone to ring or he wasn't into her. Literally and figuratively. Girls don't do coy these days, it seems.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
