You say you've had your heart crushed several times, spcllah, and I guess that must be true if you are so invested after only one week. Doesn't this level of devotion strike you as a bit inappropriate? (Both on your part and on his.)

It's going to happen sooner or later anyways.

Isn't breaking someone's heart for the first time considered a badge of honor like taking virginity? rofl
"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the mirror, cause I get better loking each day. To know me is to love me, I must be a hell of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, but I'm doing the best that I can." Mac Davis

Ouch, now those are some harsh words. No... I do not think I am God's greatest gift to men. Quite the opposite actually. And as I said before, I care...as a friend, I don't know why he is so attached after one week but I don't make it a habit of breaking peoples hearts. The guy likes me, quite a lot, and frankly it freaks me out. Not sure why I am so special. And as for the way he feels about me as opposed to other girls in the past, and why he says he's never had his heart broken... I wonder about that myself.

I would consider it a big, fat warning sign if a guy shows that level of interest after one week. I vote you run for your life.

I think it was thoughtful of you to tell him how you did. And good luck with your job!

Keep him as a friend. I mean its always good to have a friend....even if you only keep in touch with them thru email etc.

It was very decent of you to be upfront and honest with him. But still keep in touch. I mean if you can see him as a friend...then why not?

Down the road you never know.....but my philosophy is that you can never have enough friends...even if they are miles away....
