If I was a girl (if sex changes become cheaper maybe some day I will!) I would think this guy was a wimp if he got his female friend to contact me on his behalf.

well, we have that joke...if a friend of mine, comes to me "oh daiza, i like x and i am so shy, what shoul i do?" i say "to u want me to speak for u"...it is like a"come on, don't be so stupid, do something like a real man/woman"...it is an ironical way to say "courage, be yourself!"
