Regardless of what they are projecting, sex is almost NEVER casual for a woman. In the old days, they projected the image of sex IF you (man) were serious. In the modern era, they project the image of sex, just for fun...but, in both cases the projection is most often simply a method of attraction for a deeper purpose.

I think that is a very good observation and IMO, pretty accurate for the most part.

Even though modern times has made it more acceptable for women to be sexually aggressive and open about the subject, I think some old feelings still linger, especially in our age group.

Yes, it's true we may not want to get into a serious relationship and may just be considering a hot fling, we still don't want you to think of us as a whore or just some booty call. And if numbers were exchanged and we didn't hear from you, I think that would piss us off even though we gave the impression that it was just totally casually.

Also, some women just love to flirt, to be sexually aggressive and then when the guy calls on it, it falls flat. What can I say? We love the attention and no matter how far we have come, we are still the more emotional sex.
