Wow, you are taking it really well. And you have the right attitude, because if you were dwelling in the dumps about it, she'd know her decision was all the more right.

Clearly doing it by text means she doesn't have any backbone and no respect for you or the relationship what so ever. Take some time off from relationships, seeing as how this was your rebound after a messy relationship, you probably weren't in the right mind for a serious relationship anyway. this happened to me exsactly one week ago. two weeks after my nan died and right before xmas. she contacted me a few days later on facebook asking if we could be friends and i said thanks but i deserve much better than that! And yeh weirdly shes older than me to im 20 and shes 23.
