It was prompted mainly by me dressing for a formal evening and i wanted my hair up but my tattoo not showing. It annoyed me that i couldnt have both. My bf has made a few indirect comments, but thats not the reason.

Yeh, im not sure why the change of heart. The biggest thing annoying me is the fact i cant hide it when i have my hair up and when i wear less clothes in summer.

I guess not everybody is into them....they really don't bother me and actually I find them sexy on some women....certainly don't get rid of them just cause he is saying that.

Sometimes. I don't think it's always whimsical. Not from the kind of extravagant planning I've seen from some of my friends and acquaintances. Some people plan out their tattoos for years in advance and research the amount they want to get and artists they want to use.

My tattoo was done on a bit of a whim. I did make sure I put it in a place where I could hide it easily for job interviews and such. I don't regret it though. If I could have it removed with no scarring, I'd still keep it. It feels like a part of me now.

Eh, lots of guys don't like tattoos. You can't help what you are and aren't attracted to. He probably is just concerned she'll be sporting sleeves soon.
