Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
I didn't like Darksiders much. Too much repitition and grinding (and outdated graphics). God of War series was much better.
My favourites for 360 were GTA4, Resident Evil 5, Prototype, Brutal Legend and Dead Space
You should get Jade Empre if you're into Bioware. It's one of their best games ever.

^^^ Dead Space + RE5 are awesome.
I played Darksiders more for the story than anything, it was cool how it unfolded. You're right though, it was repetitious and I would like to see the sequel focus on some variation in combat and using ALL the abilities you have. If you maxed out Affliction, you just raped everything without even using chaos form.
DM is right, if all else fails, just play COD: MW2 like the rest of the gaming world. Its the best multiplayer shooter to date. It bested counter strike and is everything HALO could have been. I still love it, but nothing can top the first one or the fourth one as far as best original design.

I just get tired of hearing about Halo. It was a good shooter, but by no means great. I played both extensively and there is just no comparison between the two. Infinity Ward hit the nail on the head, Bungie came close.
I heard the new bad company was good, I may have to try it, but I am switching allegiances and going to the PS3. :-/

I like a long game...I mean if I'm spending 50-60 on a game I'd like to play the game longer than like 10 hours.
Honestly though I still haven't finished Fallout 3...but its fun as shit...I haven't played for like 3 months and I'm debating whether I should start over or just continue my saved game cause I have like 27 hours in already....Mass Effect 1 took me like 20 hours Mass Effect 2 took me about 23 hours....the way I figure it that is about 2.00 per hour...less than what you would spend going to see a movie in the theater.

^^^I want a ps3 just to buy God of War 3...I mean they left me hangin at the end of the second one...I have to know!!
Honestly I probably would have got a ps3 instead of a 360 simply cause so many 360 games can be played on my PC...but I got an awesome deal...it was 300.00 for the system and 6 games....of course I only liked one of the games but I still sold the other 5 and was able to buy others with that money.
I fear what will happen when it quits cause that is all I've heard about the 360s is that at some point its just going to stop.

That's true, but I like the PS3 interface much more. It is a much more versatile system, doesn't have all the issues that XBOX has had, and all my friends have one now. LIVE is a great service and I like the set up of the XBOX, but the pros just don't outweigh the cons in the end.
Plus, like De said, God of War 3 is calling - I never got to kill Zeus.

Dude, hands down, the best 2 games out there right now are both PS3 titles: Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain.
Heavy Rain is probably the coolest game I've played in forever. Its a story driven game about 4 characters who are all inter-related and are trying to solve the case of a serial killer known as the Origami Killer. In this game, there are no do overs, and if you fail a mission, you don't retry, the plot just keeps going. So if you mess up in one scene with a character and he/she dies, you don't go back to a save point, the game just keeps going and the story adapts to the death of this character. Same with failing a mission, letting a bad guy get away, or any other decision you make. The game just adapts to your successes and failures, and if you screw up a lot, you're just in for a bad ending. The plot is incredibly responsive and so well done, and you are forced to make some ridiculously hard decisions. Heavy Rain is very adaptive and is worth replaying.
Uncharted 2 is just hilarious. Its one of the most expansive shooters I've played and the dialogue is great, so is the animation and voice acting. Just hearing the characters throw digs in at eachother is funny, and it comes across as very natural, as opposed to these very rigid RPGs like Mass Effect, where dialogue is always scarce and deeply serious. in UC2, its just chatter, its always topical, and its very funny. UC2 was also game of the year for dozens of publications.
I personally don't even own a console, all I have is my PC. But I've played both games on a friends console, they're phenomenal. I don't like the PS3 much, but these two titles are ****ing incredible.

I think my favorite original title out right now is LittleBigPlanet. I have it on PSP. I wish it would be released on PC.
