    Good games?

I'm having trouble finding some good games. I have an old school atari, n64, ps2, 360

I'm mainly looking for 360 games...I only have golden eye and Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 64 and I'm okay with that

I have several ps2 games, the ones I really enjoyed were Star Wars Battlefront 2, Gun, GTA 3 and Vice City but not so much San Andreas, Star Wars Force Unleashed....of course Madden...I have several other games those were just my favorites.

I've played Madden on the 360 so until the next one comes out I already have that covered....I also have Mass Effect 1 and 2, a Spiderman game that came with it, Fallout 3, Lost Planet, and Bioshock 1.

My problem is I generally buy games used cause I'm poor...I recently bought Lost Planet and Bioshock and after playing both Mass Effects and Fallout 3 those games were really disappointing to me.

I like rpgs and fps games....I do enjoy Bioware games although I haven't played Dragon Age Origins yet....although I have played kotor 1 and 2.

What are some good games I should look into?..Oh I also played Fable 1 and didn't really like it...I'm not really into the whole myth thing which is why I haven't played Dragon Age yet.

Not really...I think they are to over the top in terms of voice acting and story telling....although that is broad...perhaps there is a good one I am unaware of....truly though the reason why I didn't like Lost Planet was because of the voice acting...it was awful.

Like I said after playing Bioware games the standard is just so high most other games just seem dissapointing.

I thought about getting Splinter Cell Conviciton cause I enjoyed the other games but I hear its only 5 hours of gameplay for the main story, 5 hours for the co-op...co-op is fun if you can find somebody who has the time and schedule that matches up with you to play but me and my friends all have such different schedules its a chore to get together for anything at all....I'm a Monday through Friday day shift guy but a lot of them work nights and weekends.

Darksiders is a really fun game for 360. Your play as one of the four horseman of the apocalypse who is betrayed by your creator. You are tricked into ascending to earth before your call and blamed for starting the war between heaven and hell. You go back to clear your name and discovery that you were betrayed and everything begins to unfold. It has one of the best ends of any game i have ever played.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is also really good so far. Its short, but its definitely better than all the previous ones.

Assassin's Creed II has been out for a while, like Darksiders, so you should be able to get it used, check Ebay. Its leaps and bounds better than the fist installment and has the most complex movement system I have played. You can climb, walk, run and swim almost anywhere. If you find a building, you can climb it.

Darksiders does look fun...I'll have to check that out...like I said I'll probably just rent Splinter Cell Conviction...it looks like a lot of fun but I'm to cheap to spend 50-60 on a game that is only 5 hours of single player capability.

I have never played Assassins Creed 2 but I played part of the first one at a friends house and it was fairly enjoyable.

Did you play Oblivion 4? It's a lot like fallout but "medieval" style, pretty awesome.

If you don't like those don't try DA:Origins, it's pure Dungeons & Dragons. You should play Bioshock 2 too though

I'll probably still try Dragon Age simply cause Bioware always does an amazing job with their games.

I thought about Bioshock 2 but I just never really got into the first one...I'll probably give it a look when it is 15 dollars used at my local used game store.

If you're really poor, you could always pirate games.

I've been playing Far Cry 2 a lot. It's a really great game. Takes place in Africa, and you become a sort of mercenary in modern times. Everybody is looking for diamonds and it's very guerrilla. Very challenging game, indeed.
I also play Pokemon Fire Red (don't laugh) it's a remake of the original Pokemon red. It's pretty good.
If you don't like Fallout 3, you might like Fallout 1 and 2. They are some of the best old-school style RPGs ever.
Sim City IV is pretty good, too.

Some others: Doom 3, Imperium Romanum, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Diablo II, Freeciv, Dwarf Fortress, Quake III Arena

No I did enjoy Fallout 3....Fallout 4 is supposed to come out like this fall I think...word is its supposed to take place in Vegas....that would be a cool setting.

Basically Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 1 and 2 are probably the most amazing games I have ever played....anything close to that is much appreciated.

I'm really not even into the whole Mmo thing but with Bioware working on The Old Republic online I'm thinkin I might give it a shot....my gf isn't really all that pumped about the idea...her ex got lost in warcraft...dude is a major loser....his life is video games...I mean at least I leave the house.
