Well the difference is that we're married, they aren't yet. Of the options and alternatives available to me right now the least loathsome is to stay and attempt to work on things. That may change in the future though. I'm not psychic after all.
I'll also add that we do share the same religious beliefs and level of morality. Its certain personality traits and preferences that cause us problems.

Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

Perhaps you are right, but I think we are hijacking this thread. This was originally about jorgebryson who is an atheist and his mormon girlfriend.

The title of this thread makes me think of that song, "I'm a Little Bit Country, I'm a Little Bit Rock n Roll"
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
