No, he likes to get involved in drama with the girls, that's the thing and likes to cause most of it. He likes to pretend that he is a real douche because it makes him feel better. We are not really that young, but we are all working abroad so they act like children too.
I don't think that he is awesome at all, just more mad about what didn't happen with someone afterwards, which was in turn ruined by his new girl.
