    Exactly. But just make sure you didn't cheat on your GF with a HIV positive person before getting the test!

    i think they have you do it once and then again in six months because it takes six months to show up positive, if it's there, on an hiv test.

    Normally it should take 2 weeks to show up positive if you are, but it wouldn't be very detectable so I can understand if they have you come back after a month or so. But 6 months?!? They must like seeing your green. But then that doesn't make sense if it's only $15. Oh well. Go figure.

    That isnt' what I meant, but ok.

    What I was saying, is that if you got the STD from someone, it will take 2 weeks before it can be detected. Why? Because what they test for is antibodies that take 2 weeks for the body to make.

    But that doesn't explain why they want you to come back so soon.
