to tell or not to tell?

jurupa; it's funny how if you had been the first to post in this thread, my reaction would've been "yes! someone agrees with me! I'm gonna go tell my dad".. but now I'm not sure.

I realise that even though it has a big effect on me, my parents marriage is their own and how they handle their issues is up to them, as long as they don't put me or my brother into the middle.

The reason I said to tell your dad is because your mom does not respect you enough nor does she seems to care that you been put in the middle of things. Your dad seems to do a better job of understanding your position. Will the info you have hurt him, most probably if he has not figure it out already or knows already. But you need to get your self out and it seems right now your dad is your exit.

but if he already suspects, then me telling him will only unnecessarily hurt him. or it might make him do something that he wouldn't have done otherwise. that doesn't seem right.
