Tiay, I agree with you for all intents and purposes, I was just replying with the assumption that this guy was taking his conclusion very seriously. And you're arguing against me because of your own assumptions about this experiment.

good point- aren't all arguments about points of view and interpretations though? I still think the international thing doesn't make sense. but yeah, I definitely see your point.

Unless he comes back and clearly states what the purpose was and what he gained from the results (which I doubt he will now, and even if he does as if he won't be biased right now),

I think it's pretty clear what the purpose was- "prove" something that he already thought was true. Again, not a good way to start a study. that's why it wasn't a study.

we can keep on debating for another week, and I really don't feel like doing that. I felt a tad strongly about this experiment at the time, but now I couldn't care less anymore so ... ptthh

Yasmin has turned me into a bitch. I'm not kidding it's like permanent hyper-mutant-need-to-be-argumentative-and-contrary. I'm really not kidding, all my friends noticed. My boyfriend handed me a box of granola one day and said "that has a lot of protein" and I instantly went "NO it doesn't!" even though it actually did.
I'd like to think I have actual valid opinions under the hormones, though, just more toned down.

The dumb kid performed a stupid experiment which justified him and his friends in their idiotic generalizations and somebody put them in his place.

I'm fully aware that my experiment didn't prove anything that wasn't common knowledge. It just goes to show that it's easier to be more shallow on the interweb. It wasn't a serious study either. Nothing scientific. It was three guys and a girl with some extra time to just have a little fun.

DoesntMatter says "Would you still be hating on the hot girls if they opened their legs for you?" Hating? I try not to hate anyone. But if the hot girls opened their legs up for me, I'd go for it. It's only sex, right? She has no interest in me, I don't have to be interested in her either. If she wants to look like a slut or a prostitue, then she probably doesn't mind being treated like one. If she had an amazing personality and was an awesome human being, then I don't think I could do it. I'd also question why she needed to look like that anyway.

I don't want a long-term anything with a girl that needs to do this to herself. Besides, have you seen make-up, up close, in high-constrast lighting? So unattractive. I go for the girls who are naturally beautiful and don't wear any or very little make-up at all. So, yeah, I'm not jealous of guys who can get the hot girls, just like a vegetarian isn't jealous of the hot dog eating champion. Uh, yeah.

miSSleepy, what is hot, you ask? Well, it seems to be someone who is all show and little personality. Not to be confused with beautiful. They may or may not fit that 'shallow' stereotype, but like I've said, if their looks are so important, more important than anything else, then of course they are hiding the fact that they lack in other things, such as how to sit down and have a decent conversation with someone. Even if this girl wanted to get to know me, I might not take her seriously unless she ditches the clown make-up and stopped burning her skin. Chances are, she doesn't have a great personality (being outgoing doesn't make you interesting). That's all I'm going to say about that. Don't take my scientific research seriously. At least not until I get the lab results back from NASA (huh?!).

Now, about me. I would say I'm a confident person. Not all of the time. I don't believe anyone is always confident all of the time. Everyone has insecurities. I don't like public speaking. I'm not confident about that. I get nervous. I am able to approach strangers in public, but more than not they tend to be a little crazy for my taste. I'm definitely not a cocky person at all. And I've never rejected anyone that wanted to be my friend... unless they were an ass or just crazy (or did heroin in their spare time).

My main subject question was probably more of a rhetorical question than anything. But hey, people like bitching on public forums, right? There are more questions in this thread that I didn't answer, but I think this is as far as I want to take this. Everyone's responses were good, even if they were in the least bit negative sounding or whatever. Everyone has a right to speak their mind here. But I'm finished with this thread. It was a little experiment and it's over. People got to bitch and post their complaints here as well. It was fun. Thanks.
