Haha. My partner bought me Ender's Game to read because he said it was brilliant.I found it sooooo boring. But then again I am not into Sci Fi books. Might be a boy thing because it is a very popular book.

Its just taste. Sci fi appeals to certain mindsets, like romance/drama does to others.

Speaking of books, tho, I'm reading Audacity of Hope & its pretty good. Recommend for those esp who were Obama fence-sitters.

I wish I had enough time for pleasure reading. Maybe this summer.

If he's into something escapist and supernatural try Stephen King's The Mist (I think it's from the Skeleton Crew compilation) or Clive Barker's Weaveworld. Those two are very addictive.

The very first books I read when I was little were Iliad and The Odyssey. Not as much into them anymore, though I found they're always good to keep near by and go through from time to time.

I wish I could. But being a full time student. I come home. Eat dinner. And starting working. Then I'll go to bed anytime from 11-1 or even later. I hardly watch TV so it's just difficult. So, once I don't have school, like during the summer, I'll have some time to read.

I'd read a book loooooong before I watched TV.
