Apologize to your husband. Is there anything else you want to ask? I'm not seeing anything new here.
FWIW - both my husband and I use the 'disengage' method if things are getting heated. Its good you do this. But we have always said where we go (usually office) and call when we get there (and leave).

You know when first replied to this i missed all the threads already here. Basically her problem is 'she cannot lose an arguement'. No point in telling her that she is wrong, because she doesn't agree, and she will just keep on arguing (note all of her responses), cause she refuses to lose a fight no matter what.
You need to stop tenderizing the already dead horse, and apologize (cause that is what marriage is about, comprimise, in order to get along).
