if money isn't an option then why are you trying to get the ring back?? take it as a long cause and move the hell on. sure 1200 is a lot of money, but it's not something that you can't get again.

secondly, we all make mistakes, so you've made one. live from it and move on. memories serve as a reminder so you don't make the same mistake twice. i'd say forget the ring already and concentrate on the future.

The hell with the ring and money, i've misconstructed my question a little, this exactly what i'm planning on doing. It was actually my original idea. But as i mentioned earlier, she keeps it because she want's me to call her and ask for it. And if i don't she will. And that's when all the crying and drama starts. I've known her for 5 years and we apart for only a month... . The ring is the only string between up that left. I just need some courage not to give in, because she has made an attempt already to contact me... And i hate drama!
