The funny thing is..now that I'm 4.5 year removed from school (and the stressful times you reminded me of)..I'm ready to go back.
To me school was just another one of the motions to go through..not really so important because back then I was of the mentality that my lif would begin after I got going on my profession and I'd do that till I retired... So I didn't enjoy school at all, and now I want to go back and do the cool things I missed out on. Especially like the study abroad programs. There is no easier way to learn a foreign culture than to get to live there for a while through some type of abroad or exchange program and I'm wanting to pursue that vigorously when I go back to school. I also want to do something I can truly enjoy.
But I do rememer the stress of thinking you had to do well in a class or risk loosing scholarships and grants. That I didn't enjoy, but it seems to me I'll be a way better student now. Like I saw the grad students..no real stress, just them really into their work. I feel I've matured toward that.
We'll see.
