laws don't work. i'm satisfied knowing that when other prisoners find out somebody is a rapist they torture the hell out of that person.

Why bother with torture? That just lowers you to their level -- I mean that's what they do... they torture their victims.

No, it does not. They torture people. I propose we torture monsters. There is a world of difference.
But I'm not complaining. I'm glad to see the right thing was done. The monster who stole seven innocent lives and terrorized a city--hell, a nation--is gone. That's what matters. Dreaming about torturing bad guys has no productive component to it what so ever. All it does is affect the person's psyche in the negative way while the criminal goes through the motions of the justice system anyway. Changing the flawed justice system is the key to any positive change and not this senseless torture dreaming. Originally Posted by Gigabitch

I have a son, so have the same kind of love i would have for a daughter...I would want justice, of course, but torturing them takes you to their level, and does nothing but attempt to satisfy your desire for revenge, when, in fact, no matter how much you torture them, it would never be enough to reverse what happened or 'make things better'.
