It's not being 'used' if both parties have mutual expectations. I think that a FWB arrangement is far more likely to result in someone feeling used.
That being said, I sometimes joke that me and my hubby's 21 years together is the world's longest one night stand. You see, that is how we started off. With no thoughts for what tomorrow may bring.
The attitude I took in was that I wanted to get laid and he seemed like a great guy. I'd been without sex for a few years due to a failing marriage and simply wanted to enjoy feeling alive again. I have no idea what attitude he had the time - I've never asked him.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
I've never been interested in them either. I had one once when I was 18 and it wasn't a good experience. It wasn't planned, it just happened, it was awkward, embarrassing and uncomfortable. I decided then that they are not for me. I much rather have sex with someone I have an emotional connection to.
"Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer".
I also married a person I thought was going to be a one night stand. Yay!
My long term boyfriend was a one night stand :-)
The only one night stands I've had was when I had been drinking, and we had great sexual chemistry, went home, hooked up, had a good, fun time, then went our seperate ways with no contact info swap. Mainly it's just meant to be fun. If it's not something you're into, then it won't be fun for you.
not my thing
