im sure it means something different to everyone.
essentialy its the same, but different things are different to different people.
because i cant really put my finger on it,
id like to hear what other people would describe it as.

Love is what is left over after infatuation dies. If you are lucky.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
i cant say i know what either really is..

Yo!
Just read through your other thread, seems like a tough situation. Tried to put together some advice for you so I hope it helps, even if its only to highlight how good everyone else's advice is. =P
Anyway, a definition of love...
Well chemically I'd say love is the result of various hormones and neurotransmitters floating through brain cells and interacting with receptors. In romantic love oxytocin and vasopressin are thought to be the main culprits. And lots of other chemicals come into play too, dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. Anyway, sorry a bit too technical I guess, but its really fascinating when you look into it. It just amazes me how every day our emotions are influenced by all these complex reactions going on in the brain, and we never really stop to think about it.
Anyway, so thats my biochemical view of love. Personally I'd say it was a strong attachment to someone (or in some cases something... TV with me =P) that means its very important in your life and you'd be lost without it. Mmm… I guess I'm not so good at the “normal persons” definition of love. I'd recommend you turn to these other guys for that. They're the love experts.
