Guys, pleaseeeee explain this behaviour cos its doing my head in.

After coming round for drinks last night and saying we were good (see my posts in I can handle "NO", why can't guys be upfront?) we ended up waiting for the same train this am. He has his head in a mag, I say hi, he responds. Continues reading mag only talking to me only if I initiate conversation, so I put my ipod on. On the train he sits opposite, engrossed in mag (only spare seats) and says bye have a good day as he leaves.

A 36 yr old guy is proving harder work than a young'un. I don't understand why when he is watching a movie 10 days post our date, he would make contact, and then behave like this.

I don't know how to explain 'his' behavior. If I would behave that way it's because I have absolutely zero romantic interest in you. Maybe he came by for a drink to get a piece of ass and that was that. You didn't put out, so he had no interest in giving you any more of his time.

Thanks guys. I'd surmised before receiving his stupid txt Sunday night about a movie that he wasn't interested romantically and was just being his usual neighbourly self when we met in the street. That stupid txt got me thinking about him again. So, after slapping myself on the wrist once again, I will revert to the friendly neigbourly banter whenever he stops to make a fuss of my dogs.

As for moving onto someone new. .. Perth is rather short on the supply!!

It's possible he's frigid and his moods might make him friendlier on a good day. While this can be frustrating for a woman, the man can't persue his desire because it would be seen as pressuring women. If you aren't socially adept it can be really difficult to have a normal conversation with subtle insinuations and romantic suggestion. Palsy victims shouldn't be surgeons.

Ha ha very funny. I am 68kgs and about 5.3''. stats are 38 - 34 - 40. I am reasonably toned (cycle 15kms at least 3 times a week) and have a healthy olive skin. What's more I am comfortable in my own skin and how I look.

After this morning's run in with him I am def not wasting the pretty. I'm on platform, he comes along (head in mag) stops, exchanges small talk, head back in mag. We board crowded train, me first, he goes and stands elsewhere. Say no more.
