tension can take my life: relation with friend's wife

i am quite tense now.. my friend has gone to abroad. We do have very good relations. He was not taking good care of feelings of his wife and was making a lot of girl friends when he was here..

After he went, someway, me and her wife come closer. It is just 6-7 days long story. I was feeling ashamed at my heart. But then i knew that she is flirting with a lot of guys. Although i could not resist my self to make relation with her, but i dont want to see my friend's wife ruining her and his life and reputation in town.

She did not tell me that she is having other relations but i understand well. She took about $400 from me to give her bf too. May be he is blackmaliling her.

Can anyone suggest me something?

I don't think that I'm the appropriate person to give advice because I myself am in a quite difficult situation and I don't know what to do... because my mind and my heart contradict...

So I just wanted to say that I know what it is like when you like someone but it's very difficult or maybe even mission impossible.
