Has your wedding-day come and gone and left you feeling depressed? Here's how to beat those dreaded post-wedding blues

KEEP SOME SPECIAL-TIME

Set aside a little time each month when you and your partner can focus on each other. You can take turns in making plans - a trip to the theatre or cinema, dining at his/her favourite restaurant or even a weekend get-away. Make sure you alternate between doing something you enjoy and something that would interest your partner.

SPEND TIME WITH FRIENDS

Friends can be a great support and help in planning your wedding. Now that it's over there's no need to lose touch. Invite your friends over to your new house for dinner or meet up with them at your regular hang-out. You can even call them over and watch the wedding video together. Keep the friendship alive.

PLAN A VACATION

There's nothing more exciting than planning a holiday together. Even though you and your partner are just back from your honeymoon and won't get much time off again, you can make plans for your first anniversary. Surf the net and decide on a dream vacation. Who knows you may get to go sooner than you realise.

DATE ALL OVER AGAIN

Just because you're married doesn't mean you can't date each other. Try and decide to meet up in a bar and chat to each other like you are complete strangers. Get to know your partner a little better and use your flirting skills on each other. It will re-create that magic of dating once more.

TREAT YOURSELF

Pamper yourself from time to time. Go get a facial or back—massage at the local spa. A new funky hair-cut or a pair of new clothes can do wonders to boost your confidence, and your partner will love the change. You could also experiment by going in for a complete makeover.

RELIVE YOUR SPECIAL DAY

Spend time with your partner going through the wedding album and reminisce what you both felt on that day. Enjoy the memories of your special day with your partner
