Here's the story. First off, I'm a 29 year old straight guy. There's this 23 year old girl I work with that claims to be a lesbian. I say claims because at one point in time she had a boyfriend and she also had a kid with him. So if anything I would say she is bisexual. Anyways, we get along very well at work and we help eachother out a lot. We work perfectly together and we have a lot in common. There have been many times where I wanted to ask her to hang out outside of work but always missed the opportunity. Well last week she invited me out with her to celebrate her birthday and I accepted. Her birthday was this past Saturday (May 1st). We met up at a casino and she introduced me to her friends, her dad, and her girlfriend...they are engaged. When she introduced me she told them I was the coolest guy she'd ever met. After a while we all left to go to a bar and sing karaoke. While at the bar, she came up to me and told me that the only reason she's a lesbian is because of her ex boyfriend...he used to rape and beat her, so now she doesn't trust men. But she said she trusts me and that if she was straight she would go after me. I told her that was nice and that I think she's a great person and very pretty. So later on throughout the night we bonded really well and got to know eachother better and we danced together. She kissed me on the cheek a few times and gave me hugs and even said she loved me (more than once)...but I'm sure she meant it as just a friend, she was drunk.

I guess my question is...do you think she's interested in me. Since she's not a "true" lesbian due to bad experiences with men, do you think I have a chance to sway her back to our side? I know it sounds stupid and naive, but I really like this girl and I have a feeling she likes me too but is too afraid to admit it because she's engaged to her girlfriend. I don't want to mess up things between them...and I don't want to pursue this if the girl doesn't really like me more than a friend. I just feel that she wants more than friendship since she told me about why she's gay...I never asked for that. When we met up Saturday she thanked me for coming and said she's been wanting to hang out with me for a long time and I said the same. I've never been in a situation like this before. What should I do?
