Unusual situation, liking a woman with kids...seeking advice

I'm 34. This is quite hypothetical/abstract, such is my style. But you know when something about a person creeps up on you slowly, and hence is more powerful, a feeling that builds very gradually in intensity rather than just all at once, (although they definitely did intrigue you first time) that's what is making me think I have something for her, I don't even know her, so don't take the piss, but she is really beautiful to me and unusually I am starting to think of her romantically and I do tend to trust instincts more than rationalizations and logic which can't make me feel anything. I've never really fancied or had feelings for a woman with kids. I am a believer that someone can see if you're sincere and I am, this is not shallow and she's not conventionally attractive, I just am into her. I just wondered how to deal with it really and show her I like her, and deal with it given she has kids to handle.

Hypothetically whether love can transcend someone having kids, how to read her signs and see how receptive she is, how to approach it generally, and can it work, would she be open to it and do women have time for or get feelings for a guy, or want to act on them if they have kids to deal with? It's a bit of a love at first...type thing.
