The society has many problems, e.g. crime, murder, pollution, economy, etc. In my opinions, the cause of broken hearts is the problem of society too. I think, there 3 causes of broken hearts.
The first reason is that period and distance are the cause of broken hearts. Someone may be tired and dull because it has a long time. They may not have time, so they are broken hearts. Sometimes, the distance is a cause too.
The second reason is that the both sides change them selves. Someone has a new sweetheart, so that both have to broken hearts. They may not understand, and they pay no attention.
Finally, the excuse of both sides. For example, you are too good, we don't go away, I am gay.
In conclusion, I think period and distance, the both sides change themselves, and the excuse of both sides are the causes of broken hearts, and it is also the problem of society.
