    Love without Sex

    I am curious to what you guys think about this. Do you consider sex is everything or do you believe that love can blossom without sex?

    I need to retract my second statement.

    I dont think I "Love" my girlfriend yet, but it's the best sex I've ever had.

    I don't think sex is everything to a relationship. But I think it adds to the healthiness of the relationship!

    Sex is just one of the many things it takes to make a strong and locing relationship. You can make love, you can have sex, but if I wasn't getting any for some reason (a genuine reason) it wouldn't bother me and I wouldn't love the person any less.

    If the only reason you are loving someone is because of the sex, then your relationship -IMO- is doomed to fail.

    i was just curious because it seems alot of people have sex and than are like O now we should get to know the other person. I was just curious why alot of couples see it as a major thing. Either to do it or not to.

    Yeah, that happens sometimes. Personally, I've only had sex with people I was in a relationship with and I got to know them first before taking that next step. I think sex is important in a healthy relationship, but it's not everything. You should never base a relationship purely on sex, it will never last.
