    My husband said it first, in front of my sisters. One of them asked him if he loved me, and he said yes (but we already knew he did).

    We all know women rule the relationship; don't know why that is, but they've got "hand".

    I think this just sets the precedence up front and gives the woman control from the get go. Nothing wrong with the guy telling her how much he cares for her, but don't say the "L" word. As soon as he says it, she's got him!

    Eh, it doesn't matter anyway. We still know it, even if he doesn't say it.
