so I finally asked this girl out and she just looks away and shakes her head no. And later I think about how she's acted around me and she's been talkative and joking with every guy here BUT me and I've made a huge effort to be nice to her, apologizing when I think I might've screwed up, offering her a ride home instead of her walking home alone.... Why would she treat me so rotten when I go out of the way to be nice to her?
Why do I get so infatuated with girls before I get to know them?

Why would you apoligize? you asked her out and she turned you down...there's nothing to be sorry for...and she's not treating you that way, cause you like her and i) she doesnt want to let you think that you might have a chance and ii) she'll feel ackward around you that you like her and she doesnt like you back...

Here's food for thought...be a challenge to a girl you like, ie: if she knows that she can have you...then she wont be interested in you, but if you intreague her....then you'll be set
