I can't believe this is happening in Sydney at the moment...
Where I live and work is far away from all the trouble, so it may as well be happening in another country as far as am aware. But I am still shocked and appalled that something like this could happen in my city...

While that footage is certainly disturbing, I saw much worse footage during the LA riots. The most obvious difference was the ethnicity of the rioters. Originally Posted by PhaZo

weren't there riots with the aboriginals and the police there at one point recently. but i agree with vashhhh, if there's a lot of diversity and SES segregation there are bound to be upheavals.
