    Date Ideas

Ok, so I think we should start a thread with date ideas. I know I always have a hard time coming up with anything other than the normal dinner or movies or games. And since I am a college student hard pressed for money and living in a small town where there aren't many options I could use a little help with brainstorming... How about the rest of you?

I like the idea of out-door stuff as an alternative to more expensive, traditional dates. Hiking, bike rides, throw around a frisbee in the park, etc. If you live near a state park, they will often have docent-led moonlight hikes. I also like driving up PCH, but you'd have to live in California for that.

I love outdoor stuff too, but unfortunately it is January and I live in Wisconsin where it is cold and snowy and I can't ski/snowboard cuz of a medical condition. Can't wait till spring when I can get out my bike again!!!

Snow?? You should try snowshoes! It looks like fun, but I've never tried.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

That would be fun. My mom always wanted a pair of snowshoes. It's not snowy enough for that though. We've had a warm spell the last few weeks. I should really learn how to ice skate. That would be fun too.

    what about skateing?
i live in a cold and snowy region myself, so i don't venture out of doors in winter.
as for indoor activities i recommend not a plain invitation to dinner, but also cook it together.
making a cd compilation can also be fun. and afterwards you can design the booklet together.
one of your friends or relations got a baby? you could volunteer to babysit together – there'd be a benefit for the parents in it, too.

It's fun to hit the guy in the head with the frisbee.
