    So I was pondering..

In my weekly ponder which includes reviewing the events of the past week and idiots I've had to endure, the friends I've had good times with, what is the meaning of life, my reaffirmination of athieism, the people I would like to see dead, how insignificant everything we do really is etc. In these moods I like go and read theoretical science and physics because it really makes you do wonder. I like to enjoy things in my life that are good and talk openly and honestly into myself. I then again ponder about what the future will bring, where we will go and the exciting things along the way. Bullshit threatening to overthrow reason, the corrupt age of technology we survive in. Then I like to go into a program named celestia which allows me to view the solar system, I zoom out of earth to the next star and see how small, insignificant, useless what we as humans really are. We are small, self absorbed completely oblivious as to whats beyond our small confines.

I think this quote is very fitting,

Over 6 billion animals living on a small planet in a backwater solar system argueing, fighting, killing over figments of mind (religion) and pride and nationalism.

What's the alternative? Turn into an Emo kid sitting in our room belly-aching about how pathetic we as humans are...yet unable to do anything about it?

There are thousands of people out there who realize what the true meaning of what uselessness is - I call them bums. They blame everyone and everything and take no responsibility for themselves, wasting away in squalor thinking that "nothing matters" and then wither into nothingness digging in my trash as their mind turns to mush.

You are right. We as humans are a speck of dust on the microscope of reality. We serve a purpose of jack and squat on the big scheme of existence. But what separates us from the fungus and the insects is that we can at least keep ourselves occupied for a short amount of time during our useless existence with something that gives fruition to that which is "us".

Some decide to kill or pillage or love or build or destroy or hate or move around or sit still.....Either way, all any of us are doing is wasting time until the inevitable happens - We die...Hopefully with a sense of completion that we made an impact on this world, in a fleeting thought that it might have some kind of merit on something some of us call an afterlife. Because, without something to look forward to, we would all be sitting still.
