yea, i want my parents to meet my girlfriend and im thinking of saying the morning she will be coming round that i have a friend coming round after school, then she will probably ask who it is and i will say her name and she'll say sure she can come round... would that be a good way?

Be honest with her! So at least she has some time to prepare....
If a guy did that to me out of the blue and didn't give me a heads up...and ALSO lied to me about who I was meeting....I would be kinda pissed...
Just tell her you would like her to meet your parents....and ask her when a good time is... Then go from there.Appreciate the good times and learn from the bad times....

maybe i'm old fashioned :p but calling my girlfriend "a friend coming around after school".... it's not a great truth, yet still true
