And yes it can be perceived as we are running away from our problems, but the way that I'm looking at it is that the outside influences are no longer, and the only way we can learn from what has happened is to not put ourselves in that position again.

And yes, things were thrown out of porportion and they could again....but if I avoid those situations and I stand up for myself and cover my own ass so to speak ( setting up bank accounts and etc...) then I have done my part. If he falls back into what he wants to change and doesn't follow what he wants to change then I can't do anything about it..that's him and I have to move on for good......and I will. We both know this our last chance to make this all work because there's only so much people can endure before they want to give up!

Oh, yes. The sirens have gone off twice so far this evening. I've got my balcony blinds open, half-hoping one or two will touch down briefly. After 20 years in California, I rather long for dramatic weather. Presently, though, it's merely a torrential rain.

LOL, that's what he said too, he said the sirens were going off awhile ago and I guess there was 116 different cities that Tornadoes had been seen ( I don't think they were all in AL though). Is the weather warm now?

We had a watch here earlier and now we are just dealing with 60mph winds..I'm curious about all this stuff only becasue it got to 70 here today and now we have snow flurries........ONLY IN MICHIGAN!!!!!! that's one thing I won't miss.

Hm. Now that's unusual. Anytime I wanted snow while in the Bay Area, I had to get up around Truckee altitude (6000 feet). Where's this global warming everyone keeps talking about?
