How often do you change your bongwater?

So as I was leaving today. My neighbor said hi and invited me over to his place I was intriqued. I got there and he pulled out some of the dankest nugs I have seen in a while; frosty lime green buds. He said the strain is K4 (c4 crossed with a purple). I bought an eight and we started smoking....but DAMN was his bongwater old! Shit tasted ****in' nasty. He was like "I change the water alot man, like once a week."

He was so convinced that once a week is "a lot" that I had to incist on changing the water before we smoked. I mean, how was I supposed to taste the weed, right?

Personally, I change my bongwater after every sitting. How often do you change your bongwater?

if you've never smoked a waterpipe then don't comment. A good waterpipe can do the damage easily as well (and at times even better) than a regular joint. And ye offcourse you change the water after every sitting.....

exactly ... thats why i find that bongs is more for "soft" hits . I want to feel it , taste it ,smell it all over ... before i was able to easely tell what i was smoking just by the taste/smell and i could smell it from a mile away . I was like some weed radar . Now i kind of lost that ... hey do any of you listen to music when your high ... i swear some songs are made on purpose for when your high ... things you woulnt expect from bands . When im sober i can listen to a song normally , but when i used to get high , i used to find different sounds everytime , as if my hearing was alot more accurate . I wasnt hallucinating btw because after i heard it high , i would hear it when i was sober .

All the time man. Rap is the best when your high, the beats sound deeper and the dialougue slows and it is easier for me to make out the lyrics.

Last time I did waterpipe I had that ****ing shit taste in my mouth for two weeks. And I did not get any pleasure of smoking it either, just sucking smoke from a pipe - what is the point? I am not talking about some ganja illusions or something, I am not into that, but waterpipe should get you relaxed or something, well, it does not work on me...
