Or maybe they learned to work thru their problems instead of rushing out to a divorce lawyer? Who knows? I just know that nowdays, its hard to just find someone to date long term, let alone marry. At least in my case.
(And yes I'm from the Midwest and I live a mile from one of the Great Lakes!)
That is my vote... People who are married for longs lengths of time just don't really see divorce as a viable option, for whatever reason, so they work through their problems or ignore them.
