what to do...?

i need some help.. anybody? me & my bf have been together for a little more than a year and i was (and i know its wrong) checking his emails and found a message he wrote to a former co-worker (he just switched jobs) telling her "btw, you looked good today".. i am going crazy and i don't know what to do.... part of the reason why this is such a big deal to me where as not such a big deal in maybe someone elses relationship is this is the first time i have ever checked anything of his or found something bad like this, talking to other girls and telling them they look good.. i don't know what to do.. if i confront him, we will just get into an argument about how i was going through his stuff and completely veer of the fact that he was telling another girl she looked good.. im not even the type of person that would confront him anyway so i guess the question is should i (1) just drop him.. stop answering phone calls, etc. and just throw the relationship of a year away -or- (2) ignore the fact i ever saw it (which i don't even think i can do) but i guess im willing to try if people think that i am blowing this wayy out of proportion... i donno!!! help please.. THANKS! :-)

I think you are jumping to conclusions. If there is nothing more substantial than this to worry about, then I think you ought to relax.
