Well as some of you know i am now dating my best friend of many years, we are doing great. We tend to sometimes get into deep conversation about either us as a couple or just anything really. The other night we were talking about our relationship and she started bringing up the fact that we are young (19) and she is nervous that just from us having college etc to go it might be hard on the relationship. She said she didnt wanna breakup but she didnt want to ever lose our friendship.

basically now im stuck thinking maybe we should stay friends till a few years down the road when our lives are more organized? what do you guys think.

I think it depends on how well the two of you are able to prioritize your school work. Some people have a hard time saying (or hearing) "I can't see you because I have to study". Other people manage just fine.

Why don't you try limiting the amount of time you spend together to maybe two dates a week, and see how that works for you?
