Do you plan to go to college, and if so, what will you study?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

No. Whomever gave you money wanted you to spend it on YOURSELF. Take her out for a burger instead, and go buy yourself something tangible.

no. you should save up for something that YOU want. you would hate to hear it, but she might not last forever. i was engaged to my ex. look what happened. now i have to take all the christmas presents back. i hate her god damn parents.

you should still take her out though. just dont blow all your money on her.

ok, it all started when i was like 3 years old.

we had NES (nintendo entertainment system) and all i did all day was play videogames, to build hand eye coordination, because i had trouble walking up and down stairs, and doing things, and stuff (which, also, in a very long story, is why i am left handed.). i started drawing pictures of my favorite scenes in the games.

i fell in love with the dragon warrior series. (still a fan) i started drawing really good, back in 7th grade, when i drew monsters from dragon warrior's bestiary. i continued drawing through high school, drawing in my notebooks, everything. i became friends with a computer genius at my school, who gave me illegal copies of photoshop and 3ds max, and other programs. (i never really messed with paint.) i threw them in a box, because i couldn't figure them out.

i made my own rpgs with rpgmaker, and my custom graphics. i dont know what happened to the games. i wish i had backed them up, because i would like to play them again!

i also taught myself html (hypertext markup language) and javascript, which you will read about \/

my sophomore year(when we moved to south dakota) i whipped out the discs with the graphic programs on them. i started doodling in them, figuring things out, and basically taught myself what to do. i went through 3ds max tutorials, everything.

junior year, i saved up and bought a decent digital camera. i got into the art of photography and photo manipulation. i took several drawings i did, and made computer graphics with them. i made several websites, off of angelfire, as portfolios for my art work.

one day, my mom came home with an ad in the newspaper, that offered a position in graphic design and html. i took up the offer, and went in for the interview. i gave him my online portfolio. after the interview, he said he would review my portfolio, think about it, and contact me within a week.

that night, the guy called my mom, and told her to tell me to show up there tomorrow, for my first day's work. i showed up. i still work there. i am the website administrator, for 2 news publications (used to be 3 but 2 of them combined) and a photography website. it is fun to fuse my web skills with my graphic skills!

i also design ads and stuff for the paper, and calendars, and other things.

i love drawing, i love graphic art. i love art in general. i want to study art (and german) in college, and i can't wait to do it!

the only thing i hate about it though, is the kind of work i would be involved with would require me to be indoors most of the time. i am an indoors and outdoors guy. i gotta have both, you know. that is the only con.

wow! That sounds a lot like me actually (I'm studying visual communications.. which is a fancy word for graphic design). That reminds me.. I have a website to do and a mockup brief for the company that might be offering me a summer internship.

edit: I dunno.. but technically its Thursday here.
