    Choi's 1st Day of School

Yeah, I don't think I really told many people here, but, I'm goin' to Orleans Technical Institute in less than an hour for my first class. I took up "Building Maintenance", which basically covers the basics of: carpentry, plumbing, electricity, heating/air conditioning, as well as other miscellaneous things.

    It's a 6 month class, full time, 7:45am-2:15pm, Mon-Friday.
Right now my work schedules me in from 3-9pm. So, I'm gonna be workin'/schooling 12 hour days at the least. Not sure if I'll be able to handle that long term...

I think it'll be cool, I'm a hands on learner, not much for bookwork, which is why I've avoided college up to this point. I still get 30 credit hours for this class though, which is cool for when and if I move on to a more formal college in the future.

Oh, and I know it's called "Orleans Tech", but no, it's not in New Orleans, it's actually just a 10 min. drive from my house here in Philly. An amusing coincidence regardless...for me anyway.

That sounds like fun! Do you go for a full semester, or what?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Yeah, it was pretty cool, all intro. stuff though.

We went over basic math...I'm horrible at math...and now we're reviewing rulers, I took that stuff for granted, but there's quite a few people struggling with them. And we have a french dude (everybody but me is black by the way) who is struggling because he's used to the metric system, none of the 3/4, 2/8, 11/16 stuff.

I got a big ass bag full of nice new shiny tools I can't wait to use, and a "How-To" book.

Now this is what I been talkin' about.
