Where do I find my type?

I have a hard time finding a man because I may be too picky, everytime I go out guys come up to me and ask me out, but they are usually not my type.

NOT MY TYPE: bad boys/thugs, preps, jocks, etc...

MY TYPE: artistic/poetic, sensitive, eccentric, (john lennon types)

HOW DO I FIND MY TYPE? I am tired of going on dates with conventional and stereotypical men.

why not try an art gallery or some sorta of musical plays and what not. i dunno if they'll work, but it's all the shit that i'm not into because you don't sound like your my type either.

    I agree with Illusional.

The theater is the best place for guys like that, all theater geeks I've met are as you described. So I would suggest getting involved and going to plays and such. Art shows/galleries are also good places. Past that I would suggest bookstores, if nothing else I've found the guys working at them could be candidates, and they're easy to start a conversation with.

the above is very much a stereotype too.

Anyway...try art galleries, secluded beaches, university campuses, poetry readings...

    Try the gay bars.

    (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
